10 Simple Things for my Summer Bucket List

Julia is off to summer camp next week and returns in August. What? Did someone say August?Didn't summer just start?

Here's my 10 More Things to add to my Summer Bucket List. It's never too late to start.
1. Get Julia a new phone. Is she really the only one who walks around with a cracked phone?

2. Take "Baby" to get her nails done professionally. She cringes and turns white when she hears my Baby come hear voice while holding clippers.

3. Take Julia for a Mani & Pedi. We can sacrifice a good meal for luxury right? She hasn't had one in years. I figure it will symbolically set her on the right path for High School.

4. Eat more veggies. Wow this is starting to sound like a New Years Resolution! My friend is selling vitamins, another  Face Book Friend those wrap things, another sells a Nerium Cream to make me look younger. I'm starting to think I may need a turning 50 overhaul!

5. See another sunset by the beach. This picture looks like little alien orbs invaded my photograph.

6. Do something with my new vintage button collection. Button rings? Attach to picture frames or paperclips? Or add to bobby pins.?

7. Organize my purse more often -I change purses enough you would think they wouldn't get so messy! I just heard our church Skyline will be offering a Dave Ramsey Financial University! I'm so excited! I actually put the class in my prayer request card a few months ago! This will help get my wallet in order.

8. Make use of all my cook books by at least picking one and working with it. I love the old Church recipe cook books. Here are some samples I would love to try!

Notice there wasn't a comple meal? More like appetizers.

9. Make it a point to read my bible daily. I do now yet I have really need to make time so it doesn't feel like an interruption. I have to create a routine. Make it a priority.

10. See #9-  I'm enrolling this fall hoping to attend Southern California Bible College. It's less than 10 minutes from Julia's High School. I will be majoring in Christian Ministries.

There you have it a pretty basic list. Do you ever create a 1/2 way New Years Eve Resolution List? Or add to an exisitng bicket list? Do you even create a list?

My Julia has grown up with list-it's pretty routine. If not I tend to be all over the place!

Payless Shoe Sale I'm a size 4 ,Daughter an 8!

     Cute red! Size 8

                Cute gray size 8!

How can it be I wear a size 4 when my 14 year old wears a size 8! Shopping at Payless the other day there were so many styles to choose from in the size 8 category yet the size 4 section screamed toddler area. Don't get me started on high heels! My choice of dressy shoes tend to be the Mary Jane Easter Sunday look! Not fair I say! Anyone else have small feet?
I wanted this fuchsia and black pair
Nope! Had to settle for this sexy number .....

Plain Jane Black

Size 5
...so I have to wear thick socks yet hey they were $5.00 and with the BOGO sale they were $2.50 ! I need to be grateful -I know.

Vintage Covered Buttons in Mermaid Butter Cookies Tin

There's something about covered vintage buttons. Not sure if its the texture, colors or overall look-I love them! I saw Mermaid Butter Cookies Tin from Denmark yet written across was "Wade Covered Buttons". Low and behold I opened the tin and found this! Score!

Now what should I do with them? Any suggestions?

Blossoming Buddies-San Diego

Hello Blogger Buddies
I started this group here in San Diego,CA
Thought I would share to get the word out!

Blossoming Buddies!
A group of entrepreneurs who don't have the resources to show their product getting together  collectively and creating their own multi vendor show. Do you have a product that you either created or feel strongly about? Do you want to know if your item will sell at a Farmers Market, Craft Fair or other venue? Do you not have the money to pay for entrance fees or sellers permit? You may not even be sure you want to go this route and just want a part time gig? This group is for the person who needs help networking and even getting their own Facebook page put together. Baby steps in seeing if this is really something you would like to do.
The beauty of BlossomingBuddies   is the initial low cost of signing up. Basically once we have a location you bring your product(s) and a potluck to share and network. The out of pocket besides your inventory is a potluck item and the gas to get you to the venue. The Blossoming Buddies
Group will meet throughout San Diego County and surrounding areas. Please tell Grandma or Grandpa  about this just in case they don't use Facebook!
Please "like" the fan page so we can get the word out.

Note: If we have duplicate vendor product the sellers of that same product can work together dividing client by zip code ;Basically working something out.

Post any questions comments or concerns!
Feel free to post pictures and telling us about yourself.
"Like" one another's FB pages if you have one. If you don't no worries we will make one for you . For now get an inventory together and it's ok if you don't have much, you can add to an existing table. The Blossoming Buddies is here to mentor, guide and  share!
