Have you heard of the The Buy Nothing Project ? If you haven't - you should read up on it.
I was introduced to the project by a friend who kept saying Oh I got it free from my FB group- find your neighborhood group and join- awe its free. I did and have no regrets. The odd thing is its basically like a door bell dash - so you are NEVER meeting in person. Living up a mountain in a rural area, I volunteer to drop off -still never meeting the person.
Here's what my group looks like - find one in your area and give and receive free items. Be a part of doing good for the environment and with humans in general.
