The Welcome Mat from Target

A few months back I attended an amazing Women's Retreat at the Pine Valley Bible Center. It was an unforgettable experience. I actually took home a few of my coloring projects. Couldn't remember the last time I colored let alone colored in a group setting.
Well, yesterday at Target I found the perfect decor to match. A floor mat for just $9.08! Love a bargain!
Look! Sweet, right? Now to decorate to bring this theme together. The creative juices are flowing. What project are you working on?

$1.00 Seedlings....Apartment Garden from Target

I've always had a garden. I remember watching my Mother as a young girl, tend to her garden and knew when I was older, I would have my very own. This is the first season I've planted seedlings in egg shells. They are so cute!

They almost reminded me of dinosaurs hatching. Not sure why.

I'm very limited  with space on my balcony so I try to use some self control when I go to Target to buy my garden supplies. I live right across the street from a Target. Scary, I know. I buy the seeds from the $1.00 section and splurge on the actual seed packets when I can. If it's not in the budget a month ahead of time-it's a no go. I must use this self-discipline or my place would like a straight jungle and people would start calling me Jane. Seriously.

Tomatoes are coming out. This little sighting but a little skip to my step.

My holiday tree dressed up for Spring. My daughter,Julia made the paper dress. She found the how to and whipped out a few! They are adorable!

I'm experimenting with this class container to see if Roses will bloom.

This is my Target on a budget Garden. What are you planting this season?

Target Chalkboard $3

The moment  you realize you used a permanent marker on a new display. The horror of being a crafter. The struggle is real people. My $3 chalkboard has my entire last week schedule. Sad face. Still unpacking from a recent move , I know I have chalkboard paint somewhere!

This Scenic Stamp Set is just too cute! Would make a great invite to a party!

Kirna Zabete at Target
The SoHo outpost of Kirna Zabete was founded by University of Virginia sorority sisters and best friends for more than 20 years, Sarah Easley and Beth Buccini. In 1998, they left their careers to create a retail concept that showcased who they believed to be the best fashion designers of today and tomorrow. With nearly 100 pieces, ranging in price from $9.99 to $199.99, Kirna Zabete at Target reflects an urban-chic sensibility and includes dresses, a genuine leather moto jacket, skirts and blouses in graphic prints and textures, as well as lace tights, scarves, hats, handbags and jewelry.

I love Kirna Zabete's ! I wanted Julia (13) to wear ?buy? this dress yet she gave me such an indescribable look. I felt ashamed mentioning it. Am I longing to be young and wanting this for myself? Can a middle aged woman rock this?

Odin at Target
Founded in 2004 by Edward Chai and Paul Birardi, Odin was one of the first lifestyle stores dedicated to men. Now, with three locations in New York City, Odin carries high-end lines from well-known and emerging designers and includes an array of sophisticated, yet approachable menswear and accessories. With nearly 20 pieces, ranging in price from $14.99 to $99.99, Odin at Target will help men easily incorporate style into their wardrobes this fall with must-have items such as tailored pants, jackets, knit accessories and a chic weekender bag.
PATCH NYC at Target

Odin looked Metro to me and it was actually refreshing to see. I'm tired of  the whole baggy look. This looks sharp and clean. I wish my son Rodney (21) would rock this style. I know, kids have their own taste. Yet, don't you wish -just once you could dress your twenty something offspring? They should make it a National Holiday . Dress your Kid to School Day!

PATCH NYC was established in New York City in 1997 by designers Don Carney and John Ross. After closing the store and moving to Boston, Don and John reopened PATCH NYC in Boston in 2010 where they offer a selection of art, home décor, candles, jewelry, scarves, as well as items from their exclusive lines, which are sold at specialty stores worldwide. PATCH NYC at Target features nearly 50 items, priced from $9.99 to $119.99, for guests looking to incorporate vintage-inspired pieces influenced by nature. The collection reflects the shop owners’ affinity for rediscovered objects, travel and the outdoors, and features a treasure trove of pieces including barware, bedding, tabletop and accents for the home.

This was interesting. I can actually see this in a cool man-cave. Changing things up right?

Known for its fresh, innovative approach to affordable design, Target introduced The Shops at Target to celebrate local boutiques from near and far, offering its guests exclusive collections co-created by the participating shop owners.
