6 Grade Camp

My Daughter Julia is @ 6 grade camp.
Her teacher Mr.Marsh took this picture and posted it on face book.
Julia is the girl with the big smile and hair in her food.
At 47,I still have fond memories of camp. I hope she is experiencing the same fond memories.
My friend Lynn and I were in the same cabin and with face book connected again.
I do have a confession. I wanted to be a nun until 6 grade camp.
Nothing "weird" happened yet having that new found freedom and interaction with "boys"
-I realized, the monastery was not for me. Go figure.

Scentsy -Wickless Candles

My friend Tanya is a new Scentsy Consultant. I have to admit I had never heard of Scentsy- a safe,wickless alternative to scented candles.

The basket was easy to transport and came complete with samples,brochures and order forms. The samples smell so good! The names are wondferfully creative.

Wanted to share pictures of  Aunt Crispina's Back yard in lovely Jamul,CA.  The weather was beautiful. We celebrated Grandma Lupe's 80th Birthday. Grandma Lupe has been featured on the Food Network for her famous tamales. I have personally seen people wait hours  at the Indio Tamale Festival to purchase her legendary tamales.   Mary, one of Grandma's Lupe's daughters, is my Yard Sale partner in crime.

Recycled Rubber Tire Purse???

Have you ever seen a purse made out of old tires? I didn't notice it until the seller mentioned it. My pictures don't give it justice. The purse is really cute.The logo states " Greater Good" El Salvador.
I googled when I arrived home and found there's all types of recycled rubber tire items.
