J.R. WATKINS- BLACK PEPPER

Here's another item my Aunt purchased: Purest Granulated (not ground ) Black Pepper -All natural. From the catalog it reads:

When it comes to the world's most important spice, you might as well use the best. At Watkins, we buy top-quality Malabar and Lampong peppercorns (the two most potent varieties), carefully screen out fillers and stems, then granulate (not grind) them through our exclusive process, which creates less friction and preserves their high essential oil content. Experience the Gold Medal-winning taste of the most flavorful pepper on the market
Never heard of Malabar & Lampong peppercorns the two most potent varieties. Sounds hot and spicy how I LIKE IT!

J.R. WATKINS NATURALS

My Aunt Leonora came over yesterday and purchase a few Watkin items from me! Yeah! Funny how she knew the Watkins brand right off and was excited to see I was a Watkins Rep.

She raved about the Vanilla being made from the finest Madagascar Bourbon. Have you heard of such a thing?
Watkins award-winning Original Vanilla is made from the world's finest Madagascar Bourbon vanilla beans. Our secret low-alcohol, double strength formula should be a staple in every kitchen

Sunday afternoon at the library

Julia and I walked to the library today. It's so nice and cool plus quiet. I hear an occasional baby cry while the new Mommy walks her around. Teenage girls whispering and giggling while on the Internet. I overhead most libraries will have future closings with all the budget cuts. Hope not. I remember my first library card as a little girl.It was such a big deal. Now with cable, wifi and all the nooks there is no need for books. Hey did that rhyme? Well, I will enjoy my lazy cool Sunday at the local library while it last. When was the last time you visited a library or donated your used books?
