How organized is Alejandra? Completely!
Welcome to my little Blogging Corner of the World. I started this blog in September 2010!. Thank you for visiting my quirky life with pictures, budgeting tips, foodie recommendations, make up favorites and more. They say we should find our niche and stick to it. My mind doesn’t work like that because I like all the things. I have a feeling there’s many just like me.

Short Term Mission Trip 2014
Most of you know ,I have been growing in my faith for the past year. God placed a yearning for me to serve at Skyline's beautiful Café, attend a great bible study class on Thursday mornings and this July serve on a Missions Trip to Nuneland. Note: name made up for security reasons.
I'm asking God to put a giving heart to family and friends and the blogging world so I can help serve in this years short term mission trip. The cost is $2,500. Yeah, I know. Being a single parent barely making ends meet coming up with $2,500.00 is short of a miracle however I truly believe with God anything is possibly.
I have fundraisers in mind yet wanted my out of town blogging buddies and Facebook Friends to partake in my fundraising. Every bit helps!
1. Being part of my Prayer Team & Praying for our Nuneland Team.
2.Giving to the "Donation Button" Tab on the right of the blog.
3. Mailing a Check or Money Order :made out to Skyline Church

Self Magazine & The Bible
Today being Monday the first day back to regular work mode, I decided to start the New Year off with a mini routine for "me time". I have always been a firm believer of me time however never emplemented it in my life. At times we must just DO.
Starting off with The Bible & the Self Magazine my co-worker left in the break room. It's a start right?
What "me time"do you yearn for?
Make amazing memories in 2014.
Just DO.

Julia's 15th Birthday December 18, 2013
My daughter Julia turned 15 yesterday December 18,2013
The same day I turned 50.
Here is my Facebook posting:
To my daughter Julia Gonzalez. Happy Birthday. I love how we share the same birthday, just 2 minutes apart in the time. You have blessed me for the past 15years. Saved me from myself 15.9 years ago. You helped guide me to the bible and having a personal relationship with God. You always sum up everything thing in life with just a few words...."Oh Momma, they just need Jesus".You make me strive to be a better Christian and Mother. I love you more than sushi.
Getting the "look"while I'm pretending to be the paparazzi. |
Here's one of her Birthday presents from her Brother Rodney (22)
Yesterday Julia's Brother,Rodney and I went to Graffiti Beach in South Park /Golden Hills near Downtown San Diego. Julia saw the dress a few weeks ago during the South Park Luminaries Walk. Looking at the price tag, she never imagined owning it . She took at look at the price and said Oh, Momma some day! Well her day came! The look on her face was priceless.
♥ Made in Downtown Los Angeles ♥
Sprinkle a bit of fairy dust and dash off to a faraway land of fantasy in our Pixie dress.A sprite creation with a rounded Peter Pan collar and short, swinging pleated skirt, it's as adorably delightful as a twinkling firefly.
Color block dress with black chiffon bloused bodice and dusty navy blue crepe pleated skirt. Rounded Peter Pan collar with polka dot lace illusion neckline. Peekaboo back cut out with button closure and hidden side zipper. Pulls double duty as a versatile bridesmaid dress.

The Forge: stripes and a how-to for braided bangs
via The Forge: stripes and a how-to for braided bangs:
Side Front Braid
Side Front Braid
- Part your hair pretty far on one side (whichever side works best for you)
- Select three strands of hair to braid with and do a reverse/inverted french braid where you simply braid the hair under instead of over and keep adding hair in mostly from the top of your head
- Important: don't braid too tightly! keep that braid low on your forehead as you go
- Pin somewhere by your ear or finish off braid and tie with a skinny hair tie
- Use some hair spray to control fly aways
- Practice, practice, practice!
